Personal comments
This is a forward-thinking innovative proposal in support of a rapidly-developing field. Better to be thinking and working on security and privacy from the outset than to complain about the issues once it is already stabilised or mature.
Hmmm, I’m idly pondering the value of non-identical digital twins (digital siblings, fraternal twins, triplets, quads ...) based less tightly on reality, allowing us to explore various aspects (such as novel security and privacy arrangements) even more actively than with true twins. As those links to reality become ever more tenuous, their creative value increases but so do the associated concerns: a classic risk-reward tradeoff.
